The Story Behind Our Name

In Persian culture, the bolbol (nightingale) holds a profound place in art and literature:

“Singing like a Nightingale” — This classic Persian expression describes someone who is sweet-tongued and speaks beautifully. At Bolbol School, we empower you to speak with that same confidence and grace.
The Rose and the Nightingale (Gol o Bolbol) — For centuries, this pairing has symbolized the ultimate connection between the lover (the nightingale) and the beloved (the beautiful rose). It represents a deep, devoted yearning to connect with something beautiful—just like our students’ journey to connect with their culture.
