Fees & Payment
Registration at BolBol School is always for the whole school year, from August to June. Each class has a tuition fee per lesson. The yearly fee is the number of lesson dates times the fee per lesson, shown on the class page and under Locations & Timetables. Because the number of lessons differs between cities and weekdays, the yearly fee differs as well.
Invoicing
- Payment is by bank transfer. The invoice comes by email as a PDF with a Swiss QR code, which you can scan in your banking app.
- When you register, you choose how to pay:
- Twice a year: two invoices, each for half of the lessons (the first half gets the extra lesson when their number is odd). The second invoice is sent on 25 November. This option is no longer offered from 35 days before that date.
- Monthly: one invoice for the year, paid in 11 monthly instalments from August to June. The easiest way is a standing order in your e-banking; the invoice lists every instalment.
- Once a year: one invoice for the whole school year.
- You receive the first invoice with the confirmation of your place. If you join during the year, the instalments start with your first invoice.
Cancellation policy
- The registration is for the whole school year. Single lessons or dates cannot be booked.
- During the school year, a registration can be cancelled to the end of the following month: a cancellation in October ends at the end of November. The tuition is due for the lessons until then; instalments after that are no longer due.
- The material fee is not refunded.
- Missed lessons are not refunded, also not when a participant is ill.
Discounts
- Siblings: when two or more children of the same family are registered together, the tuition of every one of them is reduced by 10%, the first child's included.
- Combinations (Zurich): 10% discount when a child attends a language and culture class together with the Dance class or the Talent Workshop.
Discounts are deducted on the invoice.
Material fee
Some classes charge a one-time material fee per participant for books and class material. If a class has one, it is shown next to the yearly fee and added to the total when you register.
Financial support
Families receiving social assistance or with a low income: please contact us, and we will look for an individual solution together. Some social services cover the tuition fees. No child should miss out on Farsi because of money.

BolBol School is a registered non-profit and tax-exempt association. Donations and sponsorship contributions may be deductible from taxes in Switzerland, subject to federal and cantonal tax rules.
